Twelve Chinese Dining brings the locals to taste the umami from Chinatown of Yokohama. Daisuke Kamata, the head chef of Twelve honed his skills in both Italian and Japanese cuisines in Tokyo and Okinawa, Chef Kamata heads the development of Meikiki no Ginki in Hong Kong. Bringing his broad range of experience to Twelve Chinese Dining. Twelve has raised the bar high by fusing a Japanese flair into traditional Chinese fare.
As the name suggests, the restaurant's interiors were inspired by the twelve Chinese zodiacs, as seen on their arresting murals, sculpture, modest details, and an extension to their mezzanine. We wanted Twelve to have a characteristic of a Chinese majestic opulence with oriental designs and ornaments.
